Introduction
Animal Farm is published in 1945 written by George Orwell. It was one of Orwell’s best work. It is an allegorical novel based on the events of Russia’s Bolshevik revolution and the Joseph Stalin’s betrayal.
Orwell uses different types of animals to symbolize the events happened in the past in Russia. Since he was a democratic socialist, he hates Joseph Stalin and his political beliefs. So he wrote Animal Farm to criticize the Stalin era. Orwell doesn’t criticize the act of revolution but the leader could suffer if they go corrupt, shortsighted and greedy.
One of the important quote from the book:
“All animals are equal, but some animals are more equal than others”
